1. Scope
This document is effective as of 11 October 2026.
This page provides the User Data Deletion instructions for the Yofatik CRM application operated by CMC Media Joint Stock Company, covering data received from the Meta platform (Facebook Login, Messenger Platform, Graph API). It supplements our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
2. What data we receive from Facebook
| You are | Data | Why we have it |
|---|---|---|
| Someone who messaged, commented on or rated a fanpage using our service | Display name, profile picture, page-scoped ID (PSID), message, comment and rating content; details you provided when ordering (phone number, address) | The business that owns the fanpage connected it to our service to reply to and look after customers |
| Staff or a business owner who signed in with Facebook to connect a fanpage or ad account | App-scoped Facebook user ID, name, access token (encrypted at rest), the pages and ad accounts you granted access to | So the service can read and send messages and manage ads within the permissions you granted |
3. If you messaged a fanpage
The fanpage you messaged belongs to an independent business; that business is the controller of the conversation data, and Yofatik CRM is only the software it uses. You have two options:
- Contact that business directly and ask it to delete your data. The business can delete it in the software.
- Send a request to us as described in section 5. We will forward it to the business concerned, follow up, and carry out deletion on our system once the business agrees or where the law requires it.
Note: deleting data on our system does not delete messages on Facebook. To remove messages from your own Messenger inbox, use Messenger's delete conversation feature.
4. If you are a business or signed in with Facebook
- Disconnect the fanpage: in the application, go to Conversations › Channel connections, select the fanpage and disconnect or delete the channel. The service stops receiving new messages from that page.
- Revoke the app on Facebook: go to Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or "Apps and websites"), select the app and remove it. Access tokens stored on our system will no longer work.
- Delete stored data: send a request as described in section 5, stating which fanpage's data or whether the whole business account should be deleted.
Removing the app on Facebook only blocks new access; previously stored data still requires a deletion request under step 3.
5. How to request deletion
Email support@cmcmedia.com.vn with the subject "Facebook data deletion request" and include:
- Your name and Facebook display name;
- The name or link of the fanpage you messaged (or your business name, if you are a business);
- The approximate period when you messaged or connected;
- The phone number or email you gave the fanpage (if any), so we can find the right data;
- What you want deleted (everything, or only messages, only contact details, etc.).
We may ask you to verify your identity (for example, by sending a confirmation message from that Facebook account to the fanpage) so that we do not delete the wrong data or act on someone else's request.
6. Timelines
| Step | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge receipt | Within 72 hours |
| Complete deletion in production systems | Within 30 days of verification, unless the law requires retention |
| Confirm the outcome | By email to the address you used for the request |
7. Data we may retain
Some data cannot be deleted immediately because the law requires us to keep it, or to protect legitimate rights:
- Order, invoice and accounting records of the business — kept for the retention period required by law;
- The immutable audit log used for security and accountability — kept only as long as necessary, with identifying details anonymised where possible;
- Data related to an ongoing complaint, dispute or request from a competent authority.
Retained data is used only for that purpose and deleted when the period ends.
8. Your other rights
Besides deletion, you have other rights over your personal data under Vietnamese law, such as the rights to be informed, to access, to correct, to withdraw consent, to object and to complain. See our Privacy Policy.
